The hosting system necessarily processes connection data such as IP address, request time, requested path, response status and user agent to deliver and secure the sites. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in secure, reliable public websites (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Enquiry forms
When you submit a form, we process the fields you provide, the source domain, submission time and a reference identifier. The data is stored in a protected enquiry record on the OBVIC public-web host and delivered to the monitored OBVIC contact mailbox. We use it only to assess and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where you ask us to take steps before a possible agreement, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Spam prevention
We use a hidden field, minimum completion time and rate limiting. These controls do not involve third-party tracking.
Analytics and cookies
These public marketing sites do not use analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies.
Retention and recipients
Enquiry data is retained only while needed to respond, manage the resulting relationship, protect against abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting and email infrastructure providers process data only as needed to provide those services.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Contact info@obvic.com to exercise a right.
